Hillhead Competition Winner
September 1st, 2007Roger Sadler is a man who clearly knows his buckets after weighing up the biggest ever produced by Miller UK.
Roger, from Midgeham Cliff End quarry in Bingley, West Yorkshire, was within just a few grams of guessing the exact weight of Miller’s EX5500 bucket with the Site Solutions team inside, recently unveiled at Hillhead.
Along with four other entrants, his guess of 36,100kg was the closest to the actual weight of 36,099.45kg but it was Roger’s name that was pulled out of the hat.
He was presented with his prize of a 42inch LCD television by Lee Palmer, Business Manager of Miller Site Solutions.

My answer was just a complete guess so it was a huge surprise to win the TV.
The EX5500 formed the centrepiece of the company’s stand at the show and formed a dramatic backdrop to the launch of Miller’s new Site Solutions division.
The specialist division offers a range of products and services that are designed to improve machine performance and site productivity including bucket repair and refurbishment, custom built solutions, coupler safety inspections, UK dealer and end user sales and replacement part sales.
