The health, safety and wellbeing of all those who work with and for Miller, our customers, suppliers as well as the general public, is always our top priority.
Miller have been adhering closely to the UK government guidelines for over two weeks since introduction of tightening government measures; our office teams are entirely virtual set up in their remote home based offices, we are managing meetings via Zoom and phones calls and our factory is operating (as at today’s date 26th March) albeit over a three system shift pattern to accommodate strict social distancing and dealing with urgent customer orders only.
From this date forwards we will begin a systematic and orderly shutdown of our core UK manufacturing operations to protect our people. This unprecedented action has been taken following the introduction of additional measures by the UK Government to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic. The suspension of normal working will be reviewed day by day so we follow government guidelines and keep everyone updated.
We all recognise the situation is continuously evolving, and we will continue to review our approach. To enable Miller to be constantly proactive during this period. We have a reduced leadership team on hand to understand the evolving situation and to enable Miller to respond swiftly to any changes whilst ensuring all staff, customers and suppliers are kept fully informed and safe.
