Miller Scoops Best Stand Award at SED 2005

Miller UK Limited, the manufacturer of buckets and couplers for hydraulic excavators, and creator of the revolutionary Scoop, has made a different scoop by winning the Showstopper Award for the best stand at SED 2005.

Widely recognised as the leading event for the UK construction industry, SED 2005 was held in Milton Keynes and featured over 450 exhibiters. More than 22,000 people attended the show over the course of three days.

The award recognised the welcoming and professional design of Miller’s stand, which reflected the company’s new branding. Judges praised the eye-catching use of colour and layout, designed to showcase the company’s innovative range of products.

Miller Marketing Manager, Gwyn Stephenson, who accepted the award, said: “To win the Showstopper Award is a great achievement that recognises all the hard work everyone has put into both the company’s re-branding and the show.”

Miller launched the world’s first quick coupler in 1989 and is now a world leader in the manufacturer or couplers, buckets and attachments for excavators.
